Program Description
Join us in an appreciation of a modern classic of Western mysticism. Father Teilhard got into a lifetime of hierarchical trouble over his scientific-humanist take on Roman Catholic theology. Let’s bask in some of the luminescence of his loving attempt to cultivate the spirituality animating the physical universe. Lead by ex-Catholic, Liz Regan, who in spite of losing the hierarchy seeks to retain the luminescence. Read Parts One and Two (Activities and Passivities) for the first discussion group; Remarks on Asceticism and Part Three (the Milieu) for the second discussion group.

Get the book at a Catholic bookstore, like Boston College, or Amazon, because normal bookstores don’t have it. There may be a limited number at our book table.
